What did Mr. Hien say when Mr. Duc and Mr. Thang threatened to abandon V.League 2018?
Mr. Hien - one of the most powerful bosses in Vietnamese football recently spoke out about the controversy surrounding the two bosses Doan Nguyen Duc of HAGL Club and Vo Quoc Thang of Long An wanting to quit football because of frustration.
During the past time, Mr. Duc and HAGL have always been a hot topic in the press surrounding the Chairman of HAGL Club's objection to Mr. Tran Anh Tu holding too many positions at VPF. Mr. Duc believes that Mr. Tu is an outsider but holds too many positions at VPF and VFF.

In order to put pressure on Mr. Tu, Mr. Duc threatened to quit football and let HAGL Club withdraw from the 2018 V.League. Along with that, Mr. Vo Quoc Thang of Long An Club, former president of the previous VPF, also announced that he would quit football because he was upset with the way the two organizations VFF and VPF worked.
Although the indignant statements of the two long-time bosses of Vietnamese football have some right and some wrong points, the majority of fans as well as experts want Mr. Duc and Mr. Thang to put aside their personal problems to continue contributing to and building Vietnamese football.
