The model of concentrated livestock production at the Dong Ham base was implemented by the Tan Ky District Military Command from April 1, 2015. To ensure the model's effectiveness, the unit assigned specific tasks to each individual and did a good job of disseminating information and motivating officers and soldiers to contribute their intelligence and funds for construction.
After nearly two months, the cattle, goat, pig, and chicken farms were constructed according to standards, and the unit also built a fish pond with an area of 3,000 square meters at a total cost of over 320 million VND. Along with investing in infrastructure, the unit invested over 1.3 billion VND in purchasing seedlings and livestock. This included 40 cows, 150 goats, and 7 hectares of cassava. In addition, the Tan Ky District People's Committee supported the unit with 150 wild boars worth a total of 100 million VND… Currently, all crops and livestock in the model are developing steadily.
