Provincial Military Command visits livestock model at Dong Ham base

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 2, 2015, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Military Command and representatives of the Military Commands of districts in the province, led by Colonel Luong Hong Phong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, visited the concentrated production and livestock farming model at Dong Ham base of the Tan Ky District Military Command.

The model of increasing concentrated livestock production at Dong Ham base was deployed and built by Tan Ky District Military Command since April 1, 2015. In order for the model to be highly effective, the unit has assigned specific tasks to each individual, and at the same time done a good job of propaganda and motivating officers and soldiers to promote their intelligence and contribute funds for investment and construction.

After nearly 2 months, the cow, goat, pig and chicken farms were built according to standards and the unit also built a fish pond with an area of ​​3,000m2 with a total cost of over 320 million VND. Along with the investment in building facilities, the unit has invested over 1.3 billion VND to buy plants and breeds. Including 40 cows, 150 goats, 7 hectares of cassava, in addition, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district has supported the unit with 150 wild boars with a total amount of 100 million VND.... At present, the crops and livestock of the model are growing stably.

Successfully building the model will contribute to increasing the unit's income and helping officers and soldiers improve and enhance their lives.

During the visit, the delegation of officers from the Provincial Military Command and the District Military Commands highly appreciated the effectiveness of the model and this will be a model for military units as well as local people to learn and replicate.
