Nghe An Border Guard held oath-taking ceremony for new soldiers

(Baonghean.vn) -On July 18, at Battalion 19, the Nghe An Border Guard Command held a new soldiers' oath-taking ceremony for 200 new soldiers enlisted in 2016.

Complying with the 2016 combat training orders and plans of the Provincial Border Guard Command, after more than 4 months of training, officers and soldiers of Battalion 19 have overcome difficulties and determined to successfully complete the task of training new soldiers. Thanks to the good preparation of the program, lesson plans, teaching models as well as the training ground, all 10 training contents met the required targets, ensuring absolute safety of people, weapons, and technical equipment throughout the training process. New soldiers were equipped with some necessary knowledge about politics, military, profession, etc. to ensure that they can well meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Border Guard Command awarded certificates of merit to 11 new soldiers with excellent achievements in the training course. Immediately after the ceremony, the new soldiers were assigned to border units on the two border lines, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the border and sea areas.
