The fishermen who received gifts this time are those with outstanding achievements in participating in protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's maritime territory. Besides presenting gifts, the Border Guard Command also assigned tasks to coastal border guard posts to coordinate and support fishermen in installing and effectively using the equipment, ensuring safe fishing operations and contributing to the protection of maritime border security.
The gift-giving program in Nghe An Province was assigned to units that surveyed and assessed the specific needs of the local people, ensuring that the gifts met the fishermen's expectations and yielded the best results. This program ran from 2014 to the end of 2016.
