Provincial Border Guard: Launching a peak campaign to attack human trafficking crimes

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 13, 2014, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province deployed plan No. 672/KH-BCH on launching a peak campaign to attack human trafficking crimes in the border area.

Accordingly, the objective of the plan is that units on the two border lines of the province strengthen professional measures to grasp the situation, improve the quality and effectiveness of basic professional work to detect sources, establish special projects to fight. Coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to do a good job of managing security and order; managing household registration, temporary residence registration, temporary absence registration, exchanging information related to human trafficking crimes to minimize the conditions for criminal activities.

Strengthening the organization of patrols, strictly controlling the border and sea areas, focusing on border gates, trails, and shortcuts across the border to promptly detect and prevent human trafficking crimes right at the border. Closely coordinate with the police force to exchange information, carry out professional plans, establish specialized combat projects to prevent and destroy inter-provincial human trafficking crime rings, in order to close the border-inland situation.

Coordinate with departments, sectors, social organizations and local authorities at all levels to promote propaganda and mobilization work to create a strong change in awareness and action for the masses in border areas, raise vigilance, and actively participate in preventing human trafficking crimes. Do a good job of international cooperation on border protection forces of Laos in adjacent villages and related localities. Improve the effectiveness of coordination in arresting, transferring criminals, collecting evidence, and rescuing victims.
