(Baonghean.vn) -On April 5th, implementing the plan to assist poor communes of Nghe An province, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province organized a handover ceremony in Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district. The My Ly Border Guard Station, in coordination with the local Party committee and government, held a ceremony to hand over and donate cows to poor people and households with difficult circumstances in Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district.

This is a meaningful and practical activity by the officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Border Guard to express their gratitude and share the difficulties and hardships of the poor people in the remote border areas, who have worked alongside the Border Guard to successfully complete the tasks of building, managing, and protecting border security and sovereignty for the past 55 years. At the same time, it aims to help the people in these areas quickly escape poverty and improve their lives.

On this occasion, in Bac Ly commune, the unit donated 7 breeding cows to 7 poor households. Each cow is worth between 10 and 15 million VND, of which 10 million VND per cow came from donations from Border Guard officers and soldiers, with the remainder contributed by the families and the local community.
