5 year old boy brought 30 packages of heroin to kindergarten

A 5-year-old boy in the US shocked his teacher when he brought 30 packages of heroin to class.

City police spokesmanTrenton, New Jersey,said on September 12,teacherinTrenton International Academysaw the boy playing with a white package.

At first she thought it was just candy wrapper but thenWhen the student refused to throw the object away, she was shocked to realize it was a package of heroin, Fox19 reported.

The teacher also found more than 29 packages containing the same type of highly addictive substance in the boy's lunch box.

The boy was taken to a medical center for testing but the results showed he was negative for drugs and in good health.

Authorities are still trying to determine the source of the heroin. No one has been charged and it is unclear whether the boy’s parents have been questioned.
