2-year-old girl in Nghe An blinded in one eye by fighting cock

(Baonghean.vn) -While playing in the yard, Nguyen Bao An (2 years old) in Dong Xuan hamlet, Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) had his right eye pecked by his family's fighting cock.

Ms. Thai Thi Lan (An's biological aunt) said that on the afternoon of December 13, while the adults in the house were busy working, An was playing alone in the yard. Suddenly, a fighting cock jumped up and kicked him straight in the right eye.

Hearing the child's loud cries, everyone ran to him in panic. His right eye was bleeding profusely and was severely injured. Immediately after that, his family took him to Hanoi and admitted him to the Central Eye Hospital for treatment. Due to the severe injury, his right eye was completely damaged.

It is known that Bao An's family situation is very difficult. Currently, both father and mother are being treated for Basedow's cell and tumor at a hospital in Hanoi.
