4-month-old kidnapped girl taken to Nghe An social work center

(Baonghean.vn) - After a period of posting an advertisement to find the parents of a 4-month-old baby in a 'child trafficking' case without results, the authorities decided to send the baby to the Nghe An Social Work Center.

On the morning of October 20, Dien Chau Police coordinated with the district's Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to hand over the baby to Nghe An Social Work Center in Hamlet 6, Luu Son Commune, Do Luong for care and nurturing.

The baby was handed over to the Social Work Center for care.

As reported, on October 17, Dien Chau police arrested Nguyen Ha Giang Sang (born 1991) in Hamlet 8, Thua Duc Commune, Cam My District, Dong Nai Province while he was taking a 4-month-old baby girl to Bac Giang Province to hand over to a person in a human trafficking ring.

For the past 3 days, the child has been cared for and raised by female police officers in the district. Although a wide-spread announcement has been made on the mass media to find the child’s parents, no one has come forward to claim the child.

To ensure better care for the baby, Dien Chau District Police coordinated with the District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to hand over the baby to Nghe An Social Work Center in Hamlet 6, Luu Son Commune, Do Luong for care. All soldiers in the unit donated clothes, toys, and milk for the baby. After examination, the baby's health was still guaranteed, he ate well and was very well-behaved.

It is known that on October 18, Dien Chau Police arrested another subject, Ngo Thi Thuy (born in 1970), residing in Thanh Van commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province, a link in this cross-provincial child trafficking ring.
