Closing ceremony of the National Defense and Security knowledge training course for target group 2.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25, 2014, the Military School of the Military Region held the closing ceremony for the 64th National Defense and Security knowledge training course for 72 officials belonging to category 2 from the four provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh.

Over a period of 25 days, the trainees studied fundamental knowledge of Marxist-Leninist theory, Ho Chi Minh's thought on war and the army; people's war to defend the socialist Fatherland; the views and policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam on defending the socialist Fatherland in the new era; building a national defense system linked with people's security; basic issues concerning the Party's leadership and the State's management of national defense; combining socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security; building provincial and district-level defense zones; states of national defense, national defense emergencies; transitioning local activities from peacetime to wartime, wartime mobilization; countering the "peaceful evolution" strategy and subversive riots by hostile forces against the Vietnamese revolution; the Party's views and policies on national security and building a people's security posture. The fight against crime in the new situation and some other supplementary contents.

At the end of the course, 100 students achieved good or excellent grades, with 63.8% achieving excellent grades. At the end of the course, the students had the opportunity to visit and learn from the practical experience at the 283rd Air Defense Brigade.
