Closing ceremony of Yen Thanh Open Table Tennis Tournament 2016

(Baonghean.vn) – After a day of fierce competition, on November 26, at the District Sports and Culture Center, the Yen Thanh District People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the 2016 Yen Thanh District Open Table Tennis Tournament.

The young athletes competed fiercely.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee, along with representatives of leaders of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Con Cuong districts, the tournament sponsor, and many athletes and coaches of the teams participating in the tournament.

The 2016 Yen Thanh Open Table Tennis Tournament had the participation of 6 table tennis clubs in the province, including Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Con Cuong districts, competing in 3 categories: men's doubles, men's doubles, and team.

Awarding first, second, and third prizes to the athletes and team prizes to the athletes.

After a day of exciting competition, the tournament ended with the following results: in the men's doubles leadership category, first prize went to the Quynh Luu couple, first prize in the men's doubles went to Quynh Luu, first prize in the team went to Yen Thanh district, and second prize in the team went to Con Cuong district.

The first Yen Thanh Open Table Tennis Tournament in 2016 has an important meaning, is the hinge for Yen Thanh to continue to promote and consider this as a traditional table tennis tournament, contributing to promoting the sports movement, creating conditions for table tennis lovers to meet, exchange, and promote the process of sports socialization.
