Closing Ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2014 (Year of the Horse)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 12, 2014, at the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee, the Nghe An Journalists Association and the Department of Information and Communications held the closing ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2014.

Attending the closing ceremony were representatives from provincial and local press and media agencies; leaders of Thanh Chuong district; the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Nghe An and the Press Photography Club of the Nghe An Journalists Association...

The Nghe An Spring Newspaper Fair 2014, held from January 22nd to 28th in Thanh Chuong district, attracted thousands of readers of all ages from across the district.

The Spring Press Festival provided readers with an overview of the achievements of innovation in our homeland and country, while also serving as an opportunity to celebrate the innovative achievements of the press nationwide as well as the press in our province.

This year's Nghe An Spring Press Festival was widely praised as a great success by readers: from the organization by Thanh Chuong district - the host unit; the publicity and promotion efforts; and the collection of 100 newspapers and magazines with 1,200 publications from central newspapers, industry newspapers, and nearly 50 provinces and cities nationwide. The content and format of the publications were rich, diverse, and attractive to all age groups. At the same time, the organizing committee also received many valuable contributions from delegates and readers.

Seventeen organizations were honored for their significant contributions to the success of the Spring Press Festival.

Six individuals were commended.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 17 outstanding collectives and 6 outstanding individuals who contributed to the success of the 2014 Year of the Horse Spring Press Festival.
