Closing Ceremony of the 2014 Military Nursing and Specialty Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 9th, at Regiment 764, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held the closing ceremony of the 2014 Nursing and Military Medical Specialty Competition for grassroots units, districts, towns, and cities. Participating in the competition were military medical officers and staff from affiliated agencies and units. Colonel Hoang Chuong, Deputy Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, and Colonel Nguyen Van Dung, Head of the Military Medical Department of Military Region 4, attended the event.

Colonel Hoang Chuong presented certificates of commendation to the comrades who won first, second, and third prizes at the competition.

After four months of preparation, training, and three days of competition (theoretical and practical oral examinations), the contest was a great success. Results: 100% achieved Good or Excellent grades, with 48% achieving Excellent and 52% achieving Good. Through the contest, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command accurately assessed the actual capabilities and professional skills of military medical personnel at the grassroots level and in districts, towns, and cities. Simultaneously, it aimed to improve and update knowledge, exchange practical experiences, and identify and address existing issues in the performance of duties and professional responsibilities. This will enable better advisory work in deploying military medical personnel to meet the requirements of caring for and ensuring the health of soldiers, as well as providing medical care to the people in the areas where the troops are stationed, especially in remote and disadvantaged areas. The organizing committee awarded Certificates of Merit to one first-place winner, two second-place winners, and three third-place winners.
