Closing Ceremony of the Contest for Mobilization of Information Militia and Self-Defense Forces of Nghe An Province

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Binh Nguyen - Head of Information Department of Military Region 4; Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, and comrades in the Organizing Committee of the contest.

The 2023 Nghe An Province Information Militia and Self-Defense Reserve Contest took place over 2 days (June 26-27).

109 athletes are assistants of the Information Corps, Military Commands of districts, cities, towns; Self-defense specialized in Telecommunications - Post, Militia of Information Corps of 21 districts, cities, towns have gone through the following contents: Theoretical awareness test on the role, position of communication, responsibilities of information militia soldiers; Military Post - Signal Information; Hand flag signal information (practice receiving, generating electricity using SEMAFO information); Individuals spreading, fixing, retrieving 500m of coated wire. Cadres practice specialized tactical training in Radio Information, Wired Electricity, prepare lesson plans, practice teaching.

Through the competition, the aim is to check and evaluate the training results in recent years and draw experience in the work of organization, force building, training, technical and tactical levels at the base, improve the level and combat readiness, ensure communication in all situations, and create a basis for ensuring communication for provincial and district defense operations. Thereby, promptly encourage and promote the emulation movement of studying and training of specialized self-defense forces, militia forces of military branches, improve management level, professional awareness level, military information skills, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

At the end of the contest, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 9 individuals with high achievements in organizing the contest; the Provincial People's Committee awarded flags to the units that won First, Second and Third prizes.
