Closing Ceremony of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - SaOn May 12th, at Vinh University of Technology and Education, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union held the closing ceremony of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition.

This year's youth informatics competition has 860 registered participants from 16 units, including mountainous districts such as Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Tan Ky, and Quy Hop.

Through the preliminary rounds, the Organizing Committee selected 182 contestants from 13 teams representing districts and cities to participate in the final round. Over the two days of the competition, the Organizing Committee assessed that the contestants presented software with high practical application. Although the exam was more difficult, overall, the contestants demonstrated superior thinking and skills compared to previous years.



First prizes were awarded to the winners across all three educational levels.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded 3 prizes to the following students: First Prize: Hoang Phan Huu Phuc - 5A class, Hong Son Primary School; Le Anh Duc - 9E class, Dang Thai Mai School; Nguyen Vu Hoang Vuong - 12A2 class, Phan Boi Chau High School; 6 Second Prizes and 27 Consolation Prizes. The organizing committee also selected the top-scoring students from all three levels to participate in the National-level competition, which will be held at Vinh University of Technology Education in early August 2013.
