Closing Ceremony of the Folk Performing Arts Festival of Ethnic Minorities in Nghe An Province
On the afternoon of October 25, in Vinh city, the Provincial Ethnic Committee held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Province Ethnic Minority Folk Performing Arts Festival.
Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; leaders of districts and cities with a large number of ethnic minorities, and more than 250 artisans and actors from the Mass Art Troupe of 11 districts and towns in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

After a day of excitement,Art FestivalThe 2024 folk performance of ethnic minorities in Nghe An province was a great success. According to the jury's assessment, the mass art troupes of the units knew how to exploit the strengths of cultural features, folk songs, music and dance, new compositions, self-composed and self-performed of their localities and ethnic groups; invested in and built the program seriously, with a suitable basic structure, and many performances of good quality.
The troupes not only invested in choreography, staging, costumes, props, sound mixing, and orchestration, but also in actors, singers, dancers, and musicians. It can be said that the most outstanding extras from the districts were present on the stage of this Festival. There were many quite successful programs and performances that created their own "highlights", making an unforgettable impression on the audience.

All programs were carried out in accordance with the content of the rules set forth by the Organizing Committee. The general tone of the programs was praise for Uncle Ho, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the homeland, the country,... In which, the focus was on highlighting the uniqueness of the programs.ethnic minorityand unique to the mountainous region of Nghe An. There are performances that are cheerful and hearty, while there are also performances that are subtle and profound, bringing the audience many levels of emotion.
It is worth noting that the groups have paid great attention to bringing folk songs, folk dances, and performances with strong regional identities into the program, both creating a unique feature and contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in today's life.

Through the performances, the artists, actors and musicians of all the Mass Art troupes clearly demonstrated their passion and love for mass art activities.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Que Phong District Mass Art Troupe; the Second Prize to the Tan Ky and Con Cuong Troupes; the Third Prize to the Quy Hop, Quy Chau and Ky Son Troupes. At the same time, awards were given to 22 excellent performances (5 A prizes, 7 B prizes and 10 C prizes).
