The Da Nang South Bus Station, which received an investment of 130 billion VND, has only generated 130 million VND in pre-tax revenue after three years due to discrepancies between the initial "agreement" and the allocated routes. The station is now being "divided" to make way for an electronics component manufacturing plant.

| The Southern Da Nang Interprovincial Bus Station is located on National Highway 1A, in Hoa Phuoc commune, Hoa Vang district. Inaugurated in June 2012 with a total investment of over 130 billion VND, this bus station operates according to Class 1 standards. However, to date, the front of the bus station is cluttered with residential houses that have not been cleared, forcing the investor to rent land from residents to have an entrance gate. |
| For the past three years, due to Da Nang's failure to properly manage bus routes, buses have not been able to operate at the Southern bus station. This station used to have a guarded gate, but the guardhouse is now overgrown with vines, the windows are shattered, and it is unusable. |
| The inside was deserted. Mr. Phan Xuan Vien, Director of the South Da Nang Bus Station, said that only 3 routes with 9 buses pass through each day. Mr. Vien said that the company's goal in investing in the bus station was to serve the transportation needs of residents in the southern part of the city, but so far, the route allocation has not been implemented as initially agreed upon between the government and the company. |
| The second floor of the bus station was supposed to be a guesthouse, but it's left unused. |
| The ticket area was completely deserted. A representative from the bus station said that when it first opened, there were 40 employees, but the lack of passengers led to a shortage of funds for salaries, forcing them to lay off staff. "Currently, there are only 5 people working, mainly security guards and cleaners," the representative said. |
| Due to infrequent use, many facilities have deteriorated. Typhoon Nari in October 2013 caused over 2 billion VND in damage to the bus station. Recently, the main corrugated iron roof deteriorated and had to be completely replaced at a cost of nearly one billion VND. |
| Inside the waiting area, rows of seats are neatly stacked because no one is using them. According to the design, the passenger terminal has a capacity of 800 to 1,000 vehicles per day, equivalent to more than 30,000 passengers. |
| The accommodation area is for five employees to live in temporarily. Mr. Phan Xuan Vien revealed that after three years of operation, the bus station only had a pre-tax revenue of 130 million VND. |
| This hall is only open once, on the occasion of the bus station's opening. |
| One of the nine buses stopped at the South Da Nang bus station. However, passengers only got off to use the restroom, waited for the bus company to complete the paperwork, and then continued their journey of nearly 10 km to the city center. The bus station's canteen, although built, was also abandoned. |
| At a meeting with the Da Nang City People's Committee on August 4th, the company investing in the Southern bus station requested permission to allocate 3 hectares of land (accounting for 40% of the bus station's area) for the construction of an electronics manufacturing plant, and this request was approved by the city's leaders. The remaining area will be retained for the purpose of the bus station. "We hope this new investment will bring in funding to continue investing in the bus station," said Mr. Phan Xuan Vien. |
