Patient 92: A student returning from France infected with nCoV.
A 21-year-old man who traveled from France via Qatar to Ho Chi Minh City on March 17th tested positive for nCoV, becoming patient number 92.
This person resides in Ward 9, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. According to the Ministry of Health's announcement, on March 16th, the patient traveled from Paris to Doha on flight QR40, seat 29; then on flight QR970, seat 18D, arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport on March 17th.

Upon entry into the country, the patient was asymptomatic and was placed in centralized quarantine in District 12. Later, he developed a fever, sore throat, and dry cough, and was transferred to the Cu Chi Field Hospital. Two tests of his samples yielded positive results.
This is the ninth Covid-19 patient linked to France.
As of the afternoon of March 21st, Vietnam had recorded 92 COVID-19 patients, of which 17 had recovered, including 16 who recovered last month and one who was discharged on March 20th. The cases were mainly imported from Europe and the US, then spread within the community. Fifteen provinces and cities have reported COVID-19 patients. Most patients are in stable condition; the two severe cases are both over 60 years old and have underlying health conditions. Five patients have tested negative at least once.
Ho Chi Minh City currently has 18 patients under treatment, ranking second after Hanoi with 27. Both cities have had to expand the number of quarantine facilities to accommodate the increasing number of people returning from abroad.
