Vinh Transport Hospital celebrates 63 years of Vietnamese Doctors' Day

Vinh Transport Hospital (Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City) was established in 1993 on the basis of merging two units: Vinh Transport Medical Center, Region 4 and Vinh Transport Hospital, a public health service unit under the Department of Transport Health.

After 25 years of construction, the hospital has now developed comprehensively and is a grade II general hospital. The hospital has a team of medical staff and doctors with capacity, qualifications and ethics, spirit and responsibility for work; always pioneering in investing in modern medical equipment and reforming administrative procedures, especially in service style to create satisfaction for patients.

Currently, Vinh Transport Hospital is a trusted address for patients in Nghe An province and neighboring areas. Every year, the hospital welcomes tens of thousands of patients for examination and treatment.

The hospital's technical, service and operational achievements are recognized and highly appreciated by the people, such as: 3D - 4D color ultrasound, general ultrasound, fetal morphology ultrasound; Obstetrics and gynecology - infertility treatment, prenatal screening; Oriental medicine rehabilitation; Hemodialysis center... In addition, the hospital's medical staff is highly appreciated for their "patient-oriented" service attitude and volunteer social security activities for the disadvantaged.

At the ceremony to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day, the leaders of Vinh Transport Hospital respectfully read the letter of beloved President Ho Chi Minh sent to the Conference of health sector officials on February 27, 1955 with valuable teachings.

At the ceremony, delegates and staff of Vinh Transport Hospital reviewed together the glorious tradition of the country's health sector in general; kept in mind Uncle Ho's teachings, vowing to strive to excellently complete all tasks with the highest ethics and responsibility of a physician; and to develop the hospital to better meet the medical examination and treatment needs of all people.
