To achieve this, the hospital has developed a plan to effectively implement and develop advanced techniques, including organ transplantation. Specifically, the hospital has prepared the necessary infrastructure, invested in and renovated operating rooms to suit the needs of organ transplantation, and invested in equipment to meet the demands of organ transplantation.

In particular, the hospital focuses on training staff and doctors to implement two organ transplant techniques: kidney and liver transplantation. Besides this, the hospital does an excellent job of advising the public and reaching out to potential brain-dead patients to effectively promote their transplants.
In addition to organ transplantation techniques, the hospital has implemented endoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and the application of AI technology in surgical procedures. It has also developed in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and implemented ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), hemodialysis, and hypothermia treatments.
To date, Nghe An Friendship General Hospital has performed 16 kidney transplants, including 4 from brain-dead donors. This is the second successful case of multi-organ harvesting and transplantation from brain-dead donors at the hospital... This event marks a new step forward in the field of organ transplantation in Nghe An province in particular and the North Central region in general, contributing to the development of high-tech, specialized, and comprehensive techniques, aiming to make Vinh City a specialized medical center in the North Central region according to Decision No. 1660 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
