Nghe An General Friendship Hospital is a general hospital.last lineNorth Central region. The hospital is currently treating a large number of patients in the province and other provinces in the region with all specialties of internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics and especially treating many patients with severe and critical Covid-19 infection... On average, the hospital transfuses about 70-80 units of blood and blood products every day for emergency and treatment of patients.

Responding to the plan of Nghe An General Hospital, on September 18, many officers, employees and workers of Nghe An General Hospital were present at the hospital lobby to participate in voluntary blood donation. The organization of blood donation was very scientific, ensuring safety in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tra - Head of the Ophthalmology Department, Chairman of the Hospital Union shared: Organizing blood donations to save patients has been a regular activity of the hospital. This blood donation campaign is very meaningful as it was organized on the 103rd anniversary of the unit's tradition. It is even more meaningful in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the blood reserve is depleted, the doctors themselves stand up to donate their lives to treat patients, especially to save patients with severe Covid-19 who are on dialysis and ECMO. More than 300 officers, employees and workers at the hospital have signed up to participate.
