Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital: Highlights of 2017
(Baonghean) - 2017 was a year of many difficulties, challenges and favorable opportunities in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and Party cells on Party building and hospital development. Overcoming difficulties and challenges, Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital has achieved many remarkable results.

1.Invite experts to train and certify in Hospital Quality Management.
2.Leading and directing the implementation of the "autonomy" plan for regular expenditures and approved by the Provincial People's Committee (the first provincial hospital approved for "autonomy" and among 08 "autonomous" hospitals in the province) according to Decision No. 1791/QD - UBND dated May 5, 2017 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, period 2017 - 2019; since then, the Hospital has improved its organizational structure and personnel work.
3.Newly established 04 clinical departments including: General Internal Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Therapy, Infection Control and 03 functional departments: Administration - Management Department, Quality Management - Training and Line Command Department; Materials - Equipment and IT Department, to meet the needs of serving patients.

4.Cooperate with leading professors in the fields of rehabilitation, neurology, emergency resuscitation, traditional medicine... to examine and treat patients, train and transfer techniques to improve skills for medical staff.
5.Cooperate with Hai Phong Medical University to provide on-site rehabilitation-oriented training for 42 hospital doctors. Invite the Chairman of Nghe An Nursing Association to provide training on hospital infection prevention.
6.The hospital has been granted a training code according to Decision No. 78/QD-K2DT dated July 10, 2017 of the Department of Science, Technology and Training - Ministry of Health. In 2017, the hospital trained and granted certificates in physical therapy - rehabilitation for 61 students in the hospital and for medical facilities in the province.

7.Examination and inpatient treatment for 6,646 patients compared to the same period in 2016 (with 5,500 patients), exceeding 20.83% (an increase of 1,146 patients). Gradually improving and enhancing the lives of staff and workers, the average income increased by about 2 million VND/person/month (reaching more than the target of the 21st Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020).
8.Regarding scientific research work: There are 8 topics accepted (of which, 4 are good and 4 are fair) and directed at the level (10 districts and towns with 64 communes in the province).
9.The hospital is the co-host of the successful organization of the first National Scientific Conference of Pain Control Units (November 25-26, 2017). Coordinated with the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management to train early detection and early intervention for children with disabilities (October 25-27, 2017) for the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

10.The hospital was assigned by the Ministry of Health to be the focal point for planning and implementing the 2017 Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (Nghe An is one of 14 provinces nationwide) according to Official Dispatch No. 5241/BYT - KCB dated September 18, 2017 and was approved by the Minister of Health for the project "Health care and rehabilitation for victims of toxic chemicals/dioxin" for the period 2018 - 2021 according to Decision No. 5305/QD - BYT dated November 24, 2017 (Nghe An is one of 10 provinces nationwide) the hospital was assigned to coordinate participation.
11.The work of gratitude is carried out regularly, supporting various funds up to now is more than 126 million VND (126,471,555 VND). In addition, giving a savings book and gifts to the poor is 55 million VND. Launching the union members in the hospital to support the union members' families in difficult circumstances (having children with serious illnesses) nearly 55 million VND and is asking the hospital to support an additional 50 million VND to treat the child.
12.In 2017, the Hospital was ranked as excellent by the Nghe An Department of Health (according to Official Dispatch No. 2785/SYT-TCCB dated November 20, 2017) and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to award a Certificate of Merit. The Party Cell was proposed to be ranked as clean and strong; the Hospital's Trade Union and Youth Union were proposed to be ranked as excellent. The Trade Union was proposed to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation.
