In particular, with the help of Professor Cao Minh Chau, General Secretary of the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association, former Head of the Department of Rehabilitation at Hanoi Medical University; Director of the Rehabilitation Center at Bach Mai Hospital, Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital opened the first Stroke Rehabilitation Center in the country. Before that, the Hospital also officially established the Pain Control Unit with the direct help of Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Chairman of the Hanoi Pain Control Association.

At the same time, the Hospital invested in expanding infrastructure development; is currently completing a waste treatment system worth nearly 30 billion VND that will be put into use in 2017; building 2 more 4-storey buildings and 2-storey and 3-storey buildings. Renovating and upgrading the campus, planting more trees and ornamental plants, creating a clean, beautiful landscape, fresh air, and relaxation for patients every time they come to the hospital. Every weekend evening, the hospital has a movie screening program for patients. Mr. Duong Quoc Toan in Nghi Kim commune - Vinh city said: Coming to the hospital, we feel like we are at home.
