Military Hospital 4: Towards 'Park Hospital, Hotel Hospital'

(Baonghean) - Military Hospital 4 is the final hospital of the Military Region, equivalent to a provincial hospital, with spacious infrastructure; with a scale of 600 beds, fully equipped, according to the standards of "Park hospital, hotel hospital".

The hospital's team of doctors are highly skilled, experienced, enthusiastic, responsible, and dedicated to patients. The hospital is equipped with a new generation of modern, synchronous medical equipment: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); 128-slice CT scanner, high-pressure oxygen system, new generation endoscopy, multi-parameter testing, automatic spinal traction, ensuring good performance of provincial techniques and applying many central techniques to serve effective examination and treatment.

Military Hospital 4 was honored to receive the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

In addition to upgrading facilities, equipment, applying and developing high technology in medical examination and treatment, the hospital focuses on innovating processes, styles, service attitudes, reforming administrative procedures, etc. Thanks to that, the quality of medical examination and treatment is improved, ensuring timeliness, safety, prestige and quality.

On average, every year, Military Hospital 4 examines nearly 60,000 people, treats nearly 20,000 patients; provides emergency care for over 2,000 cases; performs nearly 2,500 surgeries; of which major surgeries account for nearly 70%; the rate of recovery and discharge from hospital is 73%; the bed utilization rate is over 200%; the average treatment day is from 9 to 10 days.

The hospital applies and develops many clinical techniques in examination and treatment.

Along with successfully completing its political tasks, the hospital also successfully implemented the 12th Military-Civilian Medical Program; annually coordinated with localities to examine, provide health consultation, provide free medicine and gifts to over 2,000 people; effectively participated in programs launched by Nghe An province, with a budget of hundreds of millions of VND.

With the achievements in 2016, Military Hospital 4 was awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal by the President.
