Military Hospital 4 organizes the evaluation of electronic medical records.
On the afternoon of September 5th, Military Hospital 4 held a conference to evaluate electronic medical records. Attending the conference were representatives from the Military Medical Department, the Logistics and Technical Department (Military Region 4), and members of the evaluation council.

The Party Committee and Board of Directors of Military Hospital 4 have strengthened leadership and guidance to departments and divisions to ensure the implementation of electronic medical records is carried out seriously, correctly, and completely according to the plan.
The hospital has established a Steering Committee and a Team for the Implementation of Electronic Medical Records, chaired by the hospital director; and has developed and issued working regulations, plans, and operational procedures to ensure strict and serious implementation.
In addition, Military Hospital 4 proactively coordinated with the Military Telecommunications Industry Group to review and comprehensively assess the current state of information technology infrastructure and equipment, and agreed on the minimum items needed to support the implementation of electronic medical records.
To date, the hospital has completed the installation of the Hospital Management Information System (HIS); Laboratory Information System (LIS); Picture Archiving and Communication System (RIS-PACS); Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software; and organized training on the use of electronic medical records for 100% of the hospital's staff...
At the conference, delegates and members of the evaluation council heard a report on the implementation of the electronic medical record system at Military Hospital 4; inspected the information technology infrastructure, integrated software systems, medical equipment, professional compliance, and the use of digital signatures by medical staff...
After evaluation, delegates and council members highly appreciated the proactive and coordinated efforts of Military Hospital 4 in implementing electronic medical records. They also offered suggestions for the hospital to supplement and finalize the system, and to launch the electronic medical record system before September 10, 2025.
The application of electronic medical records also helps hospitals save storage space for paper medical records and improve the efficiency of information retrieval. For patients, electronic medical records help them monitor and manage their health status continuously, comprehensively, and more conveniently.
