Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital strives to become a Grade I Traditional Medicine General Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing to improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations, building strong Party committees and organizations; striving to become a Traditional Medicine General Hospital that meets Grade I standards is the key goal set out at the Congress of the Party Committee of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital, term 2020 - 2025, held on May 30.
Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; Mr. Tran Minh Tue - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health, along with representatives of the Committees, Office of the City Party Committee, representatives of the Provincial Police and party members in the party committee.

Comprehensive "breakthrough" development
Reporting at the Congress, Dr. Ho Van Thang - Party Secretary, Hospital Director emphasized that in the past term, with the will, determination and high solidarity of cadres, party members, civil servants and employees, the Hospital Party Committee has led the successful completion of tasks, basically surpassing and achieving the targets and plans set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

The hospital has made a comprehensive "breakthrough" development in all aspects of its operations; its organizational structure, human resources, and basic professional and technical qualifications meet the scale of a complete provincial-level, grade II traditional medicine general hospital; thoroughly applying information technology, all medical examination and treatment activities are gradually modernized, highly professional, administrative procedures are reformed to be streamlined, minimizing inconvenience for patients.
Hospital quality reaches 3.30; patient satisfaction index is always at the top in the whole province.

Party building, agency and organization building work has received attention: The Hospital Party Committee has achieved from good to excellent task completion, the Trade Union and Youth Union have all "Excellently completed their tasks" throughout the term.
Some targets of the Resolution have been completed: Total number of inpatient treatment days (111%); Hospital bed utilization rate (128.1%); Rate of recovery and cure over 95%. Number of topics achieved: 36 grassroots topics and participation in 1 State-level topic; 27 new techniques approved by the Department of Health and received from higher levels have been deployed.
Speaking at the Congress,Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Party Committee of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital during the past term.

He hopes that in the coming term, the Hospital will continue to innovate comprehensively, improve the effectiveness of leadership, management, construction and development of the Hospital in terms of both quality and synchronous facilities; associated with the effective implementation of the autonomy mechanism. There will be breakthrough solutions, effective application of new techniques, and a variety of service types; to create remarkable changes in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, contributing to affirming and enhancing the hospital brand. The Hospital needs to effectively use resources to renovate and upgrade facilities and synchronous hospital campus, focusing on investing in medical equipment for medical examination and treatment, meeting the requirements of the new period; Attract, foster, and train to build a team of competent leaders and managers, highly specialized medical staff and doctors; Implement well the work of hospital quality management, improve the quality of medical services, professionalism in service, towards patient satisfaction.
Take care of the work of building strong Party organizations, agencies, organizations and unions; further improve the leadership, management and operation capacity of the Party Committee and Board of Directors with the spirit of innovation, democracy and efficiency to successfully achieve the set goals.
Focus on effectively implementing the autonomy plan
At the Congress, delegates contributed ideas to overcome some shortcomings and limitations in leadership, direction, and implementation, to develop the Hospital sustainably. The Congress passed the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, with the goal of: Continuing to improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations; building the Party Committee of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital and strong organizations and unions. Striving to become a Traditional Medicine General Hospital that meets Grade I standards, together with Vinh city and Nghe An province, striving to become the center of the North Central region in the field of health in the spirit of Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo. Striving to meet the conditions and standards to be fully autonomous in regular expenditure and investment by 2023.
With specific targets: 100% of Hospital leaders have a PhD or Specialist II, Bachelor or Advanced degree in political theory and are Hospital Managers, or State Managers. 100% of affiliated Party cells strive to complete their tasks well or better; Every year, the Party Committee strives to complete their tasks well or better; The Government and other organizations: Every year, achieve the title of Completed Tasks Well or better.
The planned number of hospital beds by 2025 is 700, the actual number is 1,000; 30,000 patients/year; 19,000 inpatients/year; number of surgical patients: 18,620 patients/year; Hospital quality reaches 4.3 by 2025...
