The report at the conference showed that in 2021, despite facing many difficulties and challenges; the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, being the first year of implementing the provincial health insurance medical examination and treatment route, with the drastic, proactive, creative, flexible direction, closely following the actual situation of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the hospital, the targets and plans for the year were all achieved and exceeded the set plan.

Activities in the entire unit are developed in both breadth and depth, comprehensively and synchronously in all departments/offices, from facilities, equipment, human resources and expertise, science and technology. The hospital continues to be completed and modernized in a systematic and professional manner.

The quality of medical examination and treatment services has been significantly improved, always recognized and highly appreciated by the people, reflected in the number of patients continuing to increase "suddenly", continuously stable throughout the year. In 2021, the hospital received over 15 thousand patients for examination, more than 14 thousand inpatients; the bed occupancy rate reached 106% compared to 2020.

The hospital also develops and promotes new techniques to create strengths and brands for the unit such as: Sclerotherapy for hemorrhoids, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, etc. In addition, in 2021, the hospital will focus on producing medicinal herbs and oriental medicine products. Currently, 42 pharmaceutical products produced by the hospital are applied to treat patients, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.

Administrative reform, thorough application of IT and Hospital Quality Management have been focused on, creating a comprehensive change in the hospital. Implementing the movement to innovate the style and service attitude of medical staff has created trust and satisfaction of patients.

Along with fulfilling the mission of taking care of people's health, in recent times, the hospital has synchronously deployed many solutions to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring safety in medical examination and treatment. The hospital sent medical staff to participate in disease prevention and control at field hospitals and support southern provinces in disease prevention and control.

With its achievements, in 2021, Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital was ranked Grade I by the Provincial People's Committee; the Department of Health ranked it as Excellent in completing its tasks; the Ministry of Health agreed in principle to build a final-level hospital.

At the conference, delegates proposed a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of hospital quality management, technical development; investment in equipment development, human resource quality, pharmaceutical development...

Speaking about the development orientation, Mr. Ho Van Thang - Director of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital emphasized: "The hospital strives to build a clean and strong Party Committee of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital in all aspects; build Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital to meet the standards of a complete Grade I Traditional Medicine General Hospital with a structure of 700 standard beds, and move towards building the hospital to become a final hospital in Traditional Medicine.

Along with that, the hospital quality reached a complete level of 3.8; Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services, gradually building and perfecting a "professional, civilized, friendly, and gradually modern" hospital.
