Berlin speaks about gas transit talks through Ukraine
Negotiations on future gas transit through Ukraine must continue, the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy said.

"Negotiations on the future of gas transit through Ukraine are currently underway. The goal is to find a solution in the interests of all participants," the agency said.
Earlier, the German Economy Ministry confirmed that Minister Peter Altmayer will make a one-day visit to Russia on April 3, coinciding with the opening of the Daimler plant in Moscow province, where he may hold bilateral talks with his Russian colleagues.
“The federal government’s position on Nord Stream 2 remains clear: this is a commercial project that takes into account Ukraine’s legitimate interests. That is why Minister Altmayer prepared the ground by visiting Ukraine and Russia, for subsequent direct negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission,” the ministry added.
