Caught using drugs, "revealed" story of motorbike theft
(Baonghean.vn) - Tu was using a stolen motorbike to sell, but he became addicted and went to buy drugs. While using it, Tu was arrested.
On November 29, Tan Ky District People's Court sentenced Ma Ngoc Tu (born 1992) and Nguyen Vinh An (born 1988, both residing in Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district) to 27 months in prison for "Theft of property".

According to the indictment, at around 11:00 a.m. on September 13, 2018, An borrowed a car to pick up Tu and invited him to go steal a motorbike to sell for money, and Tu agreed. Tu took a pliers to break the lock and entered the Tan Ky District Medical Center (Block 4, Tan Ky town) to steal the motorbike but failed and went home to sleep.
The next morning, An and Tu continued to sneak into Tan Ky District Medical Center. They saw a white motorbike parked in the yard but no one was watching, so they broke the lock. Tu drove the newly stolen motorbike to My Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district to sell.
But while on the road, he became addicted to drugs, so he went to Cong Thanh commune to buy drugs to use. While using drugs, Tu was caught red-handed by Cong Thanh commune police.
At the police station, Tu confessed to his theft. The motorbike was valued at 12.5 million VND and was later returned to the victim.
