At around 12 noon on November 5, at Ba Du hotpot restaurant (19 Tran Khac Chan street, Tan Dinh ward, district 1, Ho Chi Minh city), a group of 6 people entered the restaurant to eat.

While eating, a customer "accidentally" raised his hand and touched a female flight attendant's sensitive area, causing a conflict between the customer and the staff.

Initially, the restaurant manager and the guests talked peacefully to resolve the incident, but later the two sides disagreed on the above resolution method, leading to a fight. A female employee attacked with ice tongs and other employees threw plates and dishes at 6 guests.

One of the guests called the Tan Dinh Ward Police, District 1 when three people in the group, Nguyen Van P (25 years old), Bui Thinh D (37 years old), and Le Thi H (37 years old, all living in District 1) were injured.

When the ward police arrived at the scene, the fight was still tense. Both sides continued to fight. The police and local people took 3 people to the hospital for emergency treatment and brought the people involved to the headquarters for clarification.
