Necklace snatched while waiting for gas

According to initial investigation, at around 8:00 a.m. on September 16, Oai drove a motorbike with license plate 68M6 - 6846 to take Sang to the Medical Center to take Methadone addiction treatment medication.

After that, Oai drove Sang to the gas station in Dong Thanh A hamlet, My Thanh ward, Long Xuyen city, where Oai discovered Ms. Pham Kim Cuong (born in 1983) waiting to fill up with gas, wearing an 18K gold necklace.

At this time, Oai was waiting in the car. Sang got out of the car and walked over to grab Ms. Cuong's necklace, then quickly escaped. After that, Oai came home and told his wife that he had found the necklace and asked her to sell it for 1.6 million VND. Oai and Sang divided the money from selling the necklace to spend and buy drugs.

Upon receiving the report, using professional measures, at around 8:00 a.m. the next day (September 17), the Criminal Police Team, Long Xuyen City Police arrested Oai and Sang.

It is known that Oai and Sang are drug addicts, have criminal records, and after being released from prison, continued to commit crimes.
