The People's Court of Ky Son district has just publicly tried a case of illegal possession of narcotics. The subject who must stand before the bar for the above-mentioned act is Lo May Tuyen (born in 1990), residing in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, (Ky Son).

According to the investigation results of Ky Son District Police, at around 12:00 on March 14, Lo May Tuyen was at home when a man named May came and invited him to go to Truong Son village, Nam Can commune to buy drugs.

Tuyen agreed and took his father, Mr. Lo Thanh Quynh, on his motorbike to take May to Nam Can commune. When they arrived, they met a Mong man named Po. May bought a package of heroin from Po for 200,000 VND.

Then they divided into two parts, one part was kept by May, the other part was put in his shirt pocket and then he drove home alone. At 13:00 on the same day, Lo May Tuyen was on his way home, passing through Son Thanh village, Ta Ca commune, when he was discovered and caught red-handed by the working group of Ky Son district police, confiscated 0.15g of heroin.

At the investigation agency, Tuyen confessed that the purpose of storing drugs was for use. With the charge of illegal possession of drugs, Lo May Tuyen was sentenced to 12 months in prison by the People's Court of Ky Son district./.
