As of the first 6 months of 2020, people in the whole commune have planted 304 hectares of industrial tea, 170 hectares of commercial tea, with a yield of 5.3 tons/ha. People have harvested 900 tons of various types of tea, with an average price of 3,500 VND/kg, generating an income of more than 3 billion VND. In addition to tea, people in Phuc Son commune continue to grow 320 hectares of spring rice, 80 hectares of corn in 2 spring and winter crops; maintain planting 15 hectares of squash, 32 hectares of sugarcane and a herd of nearly 2,500 buffaloes and cows, and more than 4,300 pigs.

Ms. Luong Thi Hong in Cao Veu 2 village said that thanks to the support of cows, her family has more motivation to overcome difficulties and escape poverty. Talking about the coordination between local authorities and border guards, the leader of the People's Committee of Phuc Son commune said: The officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station have just workeddual missionprevention, control of epidemics, protection of security and order at the border, while propagating and mobilizing people to hand over weapons and explosives, propagating and disseminating the law. In addition, the Border Guard Station also advised and coordinated with the People's Committee of Anh Son district and Phuc Son commune to support the people of the Phon Muong - Muong Cham twinned hamlet cluster (Xay Cham Phon district, Bolikhamxay province, Laos) with 1.2 tons of rice and 104 boxes of instant noodles, equivalent to 27.2 million VND. In particular, Phuc Son Border Guard Station also established a model of "Border medicine cabinet", sending military doctors to directly examine and treat people for free with funding raised from tens of millions of dong from contributions from philanthropists and the support of the Women's Union and the Red Cross Society of Anh Son district.
Phuc Son Border Guard Station also supported and helped 3 students overcome difficulties to study under the Program "Take me to school"with a support level of 500,000 VND/child/month and receiving sponsorship support for 2 local students to work under the "Border Guard Adopted Children" model. To help local Party committees and authorities strengthen the political system, Phuc Son Border Guard Station directly assigned 4 border guard party members to temporarily work at 4 weak and important hamlet and village party cells; assigned 26 party members to take charge of and help 121 households in the border area to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and stabilize their lives.
