Da Nang Party Secretary Proposed for Discipline, City Chairman Receives Warning
The Central Inspection Committee stated that the review of collectives and individuals in Da Nang was carried out seriously.
On September 29, the Central Inspection Commission held its 18th meeting chaired by Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chairman of the Commission.
Here, the inspection agency decided to issue a warning to Mr. Huynh Duc Tho - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City; proposed the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee to consider and issue a disciplinary action against the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh (Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council) according to their authority.

According to the Central Inspection Commission, the review of the above-mentioned collectives and individuals at party organizations was carried out seriously and according to plan.
The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the individuals inspected agreed with the conclusion of the inspection agency, stating that the inspection of Da Nang was correct and timely; the violations and shortcomings pointed out were profound lessons for Party building work and the leadership and direction of the city's Party Committee and government.
The Central Inspection Commission found that the violations and shortcomings of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh and Mr. Huynh Duc Tho, which were concluded at the 17th Session, were serious, negatively affecting the reputation of the City Party Committee and government, causing resentment among cadres, party members and people.
