Provincial Party Secretary congratulates Thanh Da parish on Christmas

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 24, on the occasion of Christmas 2017, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and congratulated Thanh Da parish, Quynh Thanh commune, Quynh Luu district. Accompanying him were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial and Quynh Luu district departments and agencies.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Thanh Da parish, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh sent Christmas greetings to parish priest Tran Ngoc Du and parishioners; at the same time expressed excitement at the meaningful religious activities celebrating Christmas, thereby strengthening solidarity among Catholics and the community.

Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh also informed priest Tran Ngoc Du about some general features of the province's socio-economic situation in 2017. Accordingly, despite difficulties, especially the impact of natural disasters, the province's socio-economic situation continued to develop, and the material and spiritual life of the people improved.

However, as the largest province in the country with a large population, Nghe An province must try much harder in socio-economic development and improving people's lives.

Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that priest Tran Ngoc Du and other dignitaries and officials, with their prestige in society and broad knowledge, will have a voice and give advice to authorities at all levels, especially the grassroots authorities, to contribute to the development of the province and further improve the people's lives.

On behalf of the parishioners of Thanh Da parish, Father Tran Ngoc Du expressed his excitement at the results of the province's socio-economic development; at the same time thanked the provincial leaders for their sharing, sympathy and attention to the parish and parishioners.
