Provincial Party Secretary: Speed up infrastructure construction of resettlement area on N5 road
(Baonghean.vn) - Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh requested to speed up the progress of infrastructure construction for resettlement areas for people in Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc district affected by the N5 route.

The 28.5 km long route connecting N5 Road in the Southeast Economic Zone is very important in connecting the socio-economic development of localities such as Do Luong and Nghi Loc.
In particular, this is the main route to transport products of Song Lam Cement Factory located in Do Luong district to the grinding station and seaport in Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district. Currently, the units are focusing on construction, striving to open the route on April 30, 2017.

Accompanying him were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of some departments and branches of the province and Nghi Loc district. |
The main problem of the project is that 31/55 households in hamlets 7, 8, 9, 10, Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc district have not yet moved to the resettlement area. Nghi Loc district leaders said that all these households have agreed to carry out site clearance and resettlement; however, the infrastructure of the resettlement area has not been able to meet the demand.
After hearing the progress report of the road, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh directly visited and discussed with the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai in hamlet 10, Nghi Thuan commune.

The Provincial Party Secretary directly listened to people's recommendations during the process of site clearance, resettlement, and life stabilization;
The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that the province has always implemented well and fully policies on support, compensation for site clearance and resettlement, so that people can soon stabilize their lives; thereby asking people to continue supporting the site clearance work so that the N5 route can be opened to traffic on April 30.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh also visited the resettlement area for the people of Nghi Thuan commune. Currently, resettlement area No. 1, consisting of 48 plots of land, has completed infrastructure and people are building houses. However, the infrastructure of resettlement area No. 2, consisting of 38 plots of land, has not yet been completed. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the investor and contractor to speed up the infrastructure construction progress so that people can move to the resettlement area soon.

Also this morning, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh worked with the provincial departments and branches and the investor of the Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station and Seaport project (Nghi Loc district). Currently, Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company under The Vissai Cement Group is urging contractors to speed up the progress of implementation to put the projects into operation on April 30, 2017.
