Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than joins the Great Unity Festival with the people of Canh Khin village, Yen Hoa commune

On the morning of November 18, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than returned to celebrate the Great National Unity Day with the people of Canh Khin village, Yen Hoa commune.

Attending the festival were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Also attending were comrade Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

The spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance is strongly promoted.

Canh Khin village has 125 households with 516 people, mainly living on agricultural production. In recent years, the cadres and people of Canh Khin village have promoted the spirit of solidarity and strived to improve their material and spiritual life, improve the appearance of the countryside, and maintain political security.

The village front working committee regularly coordinates with the Party cell and the village executive committee to mobilize people to promote diligence, overcome difficulties, and take care of economic development.

Many households have become economically successful, such as Mr. Lo Thai Sinh, Lo Van Hai, Lo Minh Ai, Luong Ba Duy... Thanks to that, the average income per capita of the village is estimated at more than 36 million VND/year. Currently, the whole village has only 9 poor households and 24 near-poor households.

Along with economic development, cultural and spiritual life is taken care of. The quality of cultural families is improved, reaching over 85% of households every year. Civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals is well implemented. Traditional cultural and sports activities such as throwing con, bamboo jumping, and tug of war are maintained vigorously.

The village effectively maintains the model of "Drum of Study" from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm every day, with inspection teams reminding children to study. 100% of households use clean water, 100% of households have valid toilets and 95% of households have household garbage pits. The spirit of solidarity and mutual love among the people is strongly promoted with many meaningful activities.

Continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and join hands to build our homeland more and more prosperous.

Speaking to the people of Canh Khin village, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than expressed his joy at attending the Great Unity Day with the people; at the same time, he was moved by the warm, sincere and friendly atmosphere of the people; wished the people good health and happiness and wished Yen Hoa commune and Canh Khin village to develop more and more.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged, warmly commended and highly appreciated the proactive spirit, solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties of the entire political system from commune to village; especially the consensus and joint efforts of all the people of Canh Khin village, Yen Hoa commune in 2025.

Sharing the difficulties of Yen Hoa commune in general and Canh Khin village in particular, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than believes that under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the government of Yen Hoa commune, with the determination, consensus and solidarity of the entire political system and people, these difficulties will be overcome in the coming time.

To build an increasingly prosperous homeland, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than hopes that the people of Canh Khin village will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance to support and help each other develop the economy, striving to eliminate all poor and near-poor households in the village by 2026.

The people in the village need to continue to unite to preserve the upstream forest resources, to preserve a green, clean and beautiful living environment. In developing the forest economy, the people need to continue to change agricultural production practices towards a more modern direction, applying science and technology to achieve higher efficiency.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than also asked the people of Canh Khin village to continue to unite and unite even more to preserve and conserve the nation's cultural identity; hoped that the people would always cherish, be proud of and teach their children to speak their ancestral language, sing, dance, and wear their traditional ethnic costumes; and resolutely eliminate backward customs, superstitions, and heresies, especially child marriage and incestuous marriage.

In addition, pay attention to implementing the grassroots democracy regulations, community conventions and covenants, and strictly complying with the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws. Actively participate in preventing and combating crimes and social evils; combating the distorted and inciting arguments of hostile forces; and effectively carrying out reconciliation work at the grassroots level.

Strictly comply with and actively participate in the upcoming elections of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels; and reorganize villages and hamlets. For the two-level local government to operate well, people need to actively participate in contributing opinions, thereby making the government apparatus operate more effectively and serve the people better.

Emphasizing the important role of village elders, hamlet chiefs, and prestigious people in the community, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than asked these people to promote their role as core and bridge to build great national unity.

Discussing the difficulties at the grassroots level, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that leaders of departments and branches share and feel greater responsibility in the coming time so that together with comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party leaders and provincial government, they can continue to have specific and effective solutions to help Nghe An develop more and more, soon becoming a fairly developed province, a national growth pole.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command presented gifts to Yen Hoa commune, Canh Khin village residential area, and poor and disadvantaged households in the village.
