Provincial Party Secretary visits and inspects a number of key projects
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 27, during the visit and work in Nghe An of the delegation of Ben Tre province, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation led the delegation to visit and inspect a number of key works and projects in Nghe An province.
Also attending was comrade Phan Van Mai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.

Visiting VSIP Industrial, Urban and Service Park, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh said that this is one of Nghe An's key projects, the project started in September 2015.

To date, 20 companies have committed to investing in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park with a total expected investment capital of more than 100 million USD on a total land area of more than 80 hectares.
There are 12 companies that have been granted Investment Certificates, 6 companies have come into operation and it is expected that by the end of 2018, 2 more companies will come into operation, attracting more than 2,000 workers.

Next, the delegation visited and inspected Vissai International Port in Nghi Thiet Commune (Nghi Loc) and Cua Lo General Port. Vissai deep-water port is a project serving the activities of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company under The Vissai Cement Group.
Built at a sea depth of 14.5m, Vissai International Wharf No. 1 is 2,000m long and can accommodate 70,000-ton ships to load and unload goods.

Currently, the wharf is mainly serving the transportation of clinker and cement of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company by sea for export to domestic and international markets.
It is expected that after completing phase 2, Vissai port cluster will have 2 general ports, becoming a multi-purpose international seaport serving ships over 100,000 tons. According to the plan, in 2019, 3/7 berths of the inland port with the capacity to receive ships of 20,000 tons will be put into operation.
Also in the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and inspected the construction progress of the 72m Vinh - Cua Lo road project and the Regulating Lake project located in Hung Loc commune - East of Vinh city.
