Provincial Party Secretary gives savings books to female students in difficult circumstances
(Baonghean.vn)- On September 24, comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented 2 savings books and gifts to the family of Dang Thi Huyen Trang, hamlet 14, Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city.
Also attending was comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper.
Trang has an unfortunate situation. A year ago, Trang and her two younger siblings became orphans, with no one to take care of them when within 10 months, both their parents passed away from cancer. Despite the difficult family situation, Trang still tries to study well and in the recent exam, she was admitted to the Faculty of Law, Vinh University.

Although she received the admission notice, she could not enroll in school because her family's circumstances were too difficult. Knowing Trang's difficult and unfortunate situation, some philanthropists and social organizations encouraged and helped her to try to enroll in school and gradually overcome her difficulties.
On the afternoon of September 24, the Provincial Party Secretary and the Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper visited Trang's house and handed over 2 savings books and gifts to help her continue going to school. Each savings book is worth 5 million VND, which is the amount taken from the royalties fund of the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong on Nghe An Newspaper.

Previously, thanks to the encouragement and help of kind-hearted people at home and abroad, Trang has now completed the admission procedures to the Faculty of Law, Vinh University.
Handing over the savings book to Trang, the Provincial Party Secretary and the Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper encouraged the children to try their best to overcome difficulties and study well. “Going to school is the shortest and fastest way for Trang and other children to overcome the current difficulties. The local government, the community and relatives will be responsible for helping them on their upcoming journey to school,” the Provincial Party Secretary told Trang and the children.
