(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to voters' opinions about the degraded ethics of some teachers, Party Central Committee Secretary Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that teachers who violate ethics must be dealt with very seriously.

Worry about school violence

At the conference, voters raised 12 opinions reflecting 26 issues to the National Assembly delegates. Among them, many opinions mentioned education work.

Mr. Ho Van Hoa expressed his concerns about school violence and the violations and moral degradation of some teachers. He suggested that National Assembly deputies consult with the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children to find fundamental solutions and build a truly healthy educational environment.

In addition, some voters suggested that it is necessary to strengthen student education between families and schools to correct school violence.

Voter Truong Cong Thuyen asked to know the Party and State's viewpoint on handling officials and party members who are parents of students involved in exam score cheating cases; and at the same time, to give opinions to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to clarify the increase in electricity prices of Vietnam Electricity Group.

Parents involved in cheating on exams must be punished.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, responded to voters' petitions, stating that the causes of school violence come from the family, school, and society. Therefore, to solve the problem, we need to combine solutions from all three causes. But first of all, if it happens in school, the school is responsible.

Regarding the issue of moral degradation of some teachers, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that teachers who violate ethics must be dealt with very seriously. In the near future, the National Assembly will issue the Law on Education (amended) to tighten the admission standards for the Pedagogy sector.

Regarding the exam cheating case, Party Central Committee Secretary Phan Dinh Trac affirmed that negative parents must be dealt with. Those who deserve prosecution should be prosecuted, those who deserve administrative discipline should be administratively disciplined, and those who deserve Party discipline should be disciplined by the Party.
