BIDV Phu Dien put into use a headquarters with a floor area of nearly 5,000m2
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 7, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Phu Dien branch, held a conference to deploy the 2016 business plan and announced the putting into use of the headquarters and treasury of BIDV, Phu Dien branch.
Attending the event were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Dien Chau, Do Luong, Quynh Luu, Tan Ky, Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Yen Thanh districts, and Hoang Mai town.
On the side of BIDV Vietnam Bank, there are Deputy General Directors Nguyen Thien Hoang and Tran Phuong.

Established in October 2012, when BIDV implemented the policy of restructuring the operations of small-scale branches with low financial capacity to establish new branches, BIDV Phu Dien Branch was established on the basis of merging BIDV Tay Nghe An, Bac Nghe An branches and Dien Chau transaction office. The initial scale at the time of merger had a total outstanding debt of 1,527 billion VND, total capital of 1,652 billion VND, net service revenue of 7 billion VND, bad debt accounted for a large proportion.

After 4 years of establishment, in the period of 2013-2015, BIDV Phu Dien branch restructured its business activities, successfully completed the retail credit activities of the whole system in the period of 2013-2015 with the indicators of scale and growth efficiency achieving quite well. Capital mobilization at the end of the period grew by an average of 20%, the market share of capital mobilization in the area increased from 3% to 3.5%; credit lending grew by an average of 38%. BIDV Phu Dien timely provided capital for many key projects in the area.
In 2016, the Branch has fully completed the targets on growth scale, maintaining its position and market share in the area. The structure of activities has shifted positively towards strongly increasing retail activities and small and medium enterprises in the area. Outstanding retail credit reached 2,297 billion VND, up 22%; retail capital mobilization reached 2,210 billion VND, up 10% compared to 2015; credit quality is controlled.

In 2017, BIDV Phu Dien branch determined to implement the business plan right from the first days of the month, striving to successfully complete the set targets: Maximum credit growth of 14%, capital mobilization growth of 13%.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thien Hoang - Deputy General Director of BIDV Vietnam acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of BIDV, and at the same time requested BIDV Phu Dien to continue to perform well the socio-economic development tasks assigned by the Government, the State Bank, and BIDV, closely following the socio-economic development orientation of the province and the districts in the area. Effective and safe credit growth, focusing on promoting retail credit, small and medium-sized enterprise customers, continuing to invest in rural agricultural development in the field of industrial crop development, promoting livestock projects, continuing to invest in coastal economic development and fishing, aquaculture and seafood processing according to orientation.
The comrades also hoped that BIDV would continue to launch emulation movements, improve the scale and quality of operations; build and promote the image of branches in the area, perform well in social security work, and demonstrate responsibility for the community.

The investment project to build the office building of BIDV Phu Dien branch was built on an area of 2,300m2, 7-storey building with total floor area of nearly 5,000m2. The project invests in smart, automatic building technical systems to serve the needs of modern banks./.
