Border guards in Nghe An province arrested two individuals for illegally transporting drugs.

(Baonghean.vn)After two days and nights of stakeout, at border marker 415, at 10:00 AM on April 28th, a patrol team from the Muong Tip Border Guard Post in Ky Son District, Nghe An Province, discovered and arrested two individuals transporting illegal drugs.These are Lầu Nhia Bì, born in 1967, residing in Ải Khe village, Mường Ải commune, Kỳ Sơn district, and Mùa Nênh Và, born in 1965, residing in Lữ village, Tây Sơn commune, Kỳ Sơn district.

Upon searching the two suspects, the patrol force seized 100g of opium, 710,000 Lao Kip, 3 K44 bullets, and 65,000 VND. Initial questioning revealed that the two suspects admitted to illegally crossing the border into Laos to purchase drugs for personal use.
The station has completed the paperwork and handed it over to the relevant authorities for processing.
