A wealth of attractive destinations
Quynh Luu district possesses favorable conditions for the development of the tourism industry, especially beach tourism, resort tourism combined with historical, cultural and spiritual tourism, and ecotourism.

With a coastline stretching nearly 20km, numerous beautiful beaches, picturesque caves, and abundant marine resources, this area will be an attractive destination for tourists.

Besides beach tourism and enjoying fresh seafood, the district has 32 ranked cultural and historical relics, including 15 national-level relics and 17 provincial-level relics.

Quynh Luu boasts many beautiful scenic spots, numerous traditional folk festivals reflecting the unique cultural identity of the region, traditional craft villages with diverse and unique products, and a thriving commercial service sector. These are all potential advantages for Quynh Luu to boost its tourism development.

When visiting Quynh Luu, you can choose from short tours such as: visiting the cultural village and national-level historical sites (Quynh Doi) - Lam Son Pagoda (Quynh Yen) - swimming at the beach (Quynh Nghia); visiting Diep Island (Quynh Van) - King Ho Temple (Ngoc Son) - swimming at Quynh Bang and Quynh Nghia beaches; visiting Vuc Mau Lake (Quynh Thang) - Bat Cave (Quynh Tam) - Jade Eye, Dragon Mountain (Quynh Nghia)... In addition, tourists can visit the Tam Mai Temple (Quynh Thuan); the Nguyen Duc Mau historical site (Son Hai), where the first Party branch of the district was established; traditional craft villages, aquaculture areas; VietGAP clean vegetable fields; deer and elk farms; seafood processing villages in coastal communes: Quynh Long, Son Hai, An Hoa, Tien Thuy... and watch the sunset over the sea.

In recent times, the number of tourists visiting Quynh Luu has increased significantly. Besides tourists from within the province, there is a considerable number of domestic and foreign visitors, and all tourists share the same feeling: Quynh Luu possesses a very unique culture; a rich revolutionary tradition; numerous historical sites of cultural, artistic, and spiritual value; many scenic spots; beautiful, romantic beaches, many of which still retain their pristine beauty; many clean beaches with fine sand, clear blue water, and are safe; and many attractive, nutritious, fresh, and delicious seafood specialties that are very affordable and prepared with great care and appeal.

The restaurant and food stall system is quite well-invested; the district currently has 24 accommodation establishments with a total of 394 rooms and 607 beds, ensuring the needs of tourists visiting and relaxing. In particular, Quynh Luu has many beautiful beachfront resorts such as Ruby Star Beach Quynh Resort, Village Resort Vuon Dua in Quynh Nghia commune; Bien Ho, Xuan Dat Viet in Quynh Bang commune... serving thousands of tourists every day.

In preparation for the 2019 tourist season, Quynh Luu district is implementing a comprehensive set of solutions to ensure the best conditions for serving tourists. Regarding transportation infrastructure, the District People's Committee is focusing on directing relevant units to complete land clearance to open the Thach - Thanh - Luong; Hau - Doi - Yen - Minh roads, and the Van - Bang road connecting National Highway 1A to coastal roads.

Repair and upgrade the roads connecting National Highway 48B with Road 537B through Quynh Ba, An Hoa, and Quynh Nghia, creating favorable conditions for tourists from within and outside the province.

Repair and upgrade the coastal dike to create a convenient and synchronized transportation system from Quynh Nghia to Quynh Bang and Hoang Mai town. Invest in a lighting system from the Quynh Minh intersection connecting to the lighting system along the coastal dike. Complete the system of road signs and signs indicating historical sites to facilitate tourists' navigation and selection of sightseeing destinations.

At food and beverage establishments, the district has established inspection teams to handle small, scattered stalls; and encouraged and facilitated businesses to invest in building modern, planned stalls. Efforts are being intensified to attract investment and encourage businesses with the capacity to invest in new, high-end resorts. For existing resorts, the district is focusing on creating favorable conditions and encouraging further investment in accommodation, entertainment areas, landscaping, and the environment to meet the growing demands of tourists.

Currently, accommodations such as Ruby Star Beach Quỳnh Resort, Village Resort Vườn Dừa, Biển Hồ, Xuân Đất Việt, Đức Tài - Tâm Đạt, and many others are ready for the 2019 tourist season.

In addition to ensuring good tourism infrastructure, communes with advantages in beach bathing and resort activities such as Quynh Nghia, Quynh Minh, Quynh Luong, Quynh Bang, and Quynh Long are actively implementing infrastructure improvements, environmental sanitation, business management, commercial services, food processing, and the development of distinctive products. Communes such as Quynh Doi, Quynh Yen, Quynh Van, Ngoc Son, Cau Giat town, and Quynh Thang are linking prominent historical sites, scenic spots, and branded products to prepare for welcoming tourists.

Facilities such as the spirulina plantation - Hidumi Phamar - in Quynh Luong commune; specialized areas for producing clean vegetables and aquaculture according to VietGAP standards; processing fish sauce, dried squid products, fresh seafood, deer antlers, fine art woodworking villages, vermicelli, flowers and ornamental plants; and commercial centers are all ready for the tourist season.

To promote and disseminate information about the opening ceremony of Quynh Beach tourism in 2019, starting from mid-March 2019, the district distributed leaflets and promotional videos; increased radio and television broadcasts; and published information on the electronic portal and websites, Nghe An newspaper, and magazines about the advantages and attractiveness of Quynh Beach tourism, destinations, historical sites, scenic spots, high-end resorts, and activities related to the local culture.

The opening ceremony of Quynh Beach Tourism in 2019 was held during the April 30th and May 1st holidays. The opening festival lasted from April 26th to May 1st with a series of special activities, including beach volleyball for men and women, football on the grass field, an art photography contest, a beauty contest for female students, a bird singing competition by the sea, the final round of the Lang Sen Singing Contest, a tourism camp, and many other activities. The artistic performance on the opening night was elaborately staged with a drum performance, and special performances by renowned local actors and nationally famous singers.

To ensure visitor satisfaction when coming to Quynh Luu for sightseeing, swimming, and relaxation, the district organizes meetings with service and accommodation establishments; and conducts training courses to improve professional skills, communication skills, and cultural etiquette.

Inspect business conditions, regulations on public price disclosure of services, regulations on food safety commitments, environmental hygiene, tourist safety, and the state management responsibilities of communes and towns regarding business, services, trade, and safe products; reorganize rescue teams, and arrange a system of safety signs for swimming to ensure convenience, satisfaction, and absolute safety for tourists visiting Quynh Luu.
