Ms. Ngoc Huong - mother of singer Ho Ngoc Ha and her aunt (Ms. Nguyen Thuy) and the volunteer group were directly present on the flood relief trip to the Central region in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri - one of the areas most severely affected by storms and floods in Quang Tri.

Despite the harsh weather, with continuous rain from early morning, Ms. Ngoc Huong and her team did not hesitate to take a boat and wade across the river to each household to give cash and gifts including rice, milk, and drinking water to a total of 100 households in the two communes of Hai Vinh and Hai Hoa, which are remote and difficult areas of the district.

In addition, the delegation also visited and provided cash support to a number of families who were not only affected by storms and floods, but also pitiful children affected by Agent Orange.

Then the group continued to Thua Thien - Hue and then Quang Binh.

The hard work, sweat, and tears of the rainy and sunny seasons were all gone with the harsh water. Everyone and I were moved, we felt so sorry for everyone... When will we be able to overcome this when we have nothing left and our strength is exhausted... 50, 60, 70, 80 years old... they cried, and we could only let our tears flow..."

"Oh, I feel so sorry for the people in Central Vietnam. They are very poor after the flood, but everyone always knows how to share with each other. Many people volunteered to take us to the most disadvantaged households."
