Previously, on the morning of October 8, 2022, relatives of singer Ho Ngoc Ha reported that the family's villa showed signs of being broken into, and many gold jewelry worth nearly 2 billion VND was stolen. At the time the villa was stolen, singer Ho Ngoc Ha was abroad.

After receiving the report, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Thu Duc City Police to examine the scene, take statements from related people and initiate a case for investigation.

The owner said that the number has a butterfly-shaped diamond ring, product code NDR1198-OP2. The ring has a white gold diamond shell - white and yellow diamonds, weighs 1.69 chi, the diamond shell weight is 1.605 carats, the total number of diamonds (stones) includes 40 white round and 2 yellow melons, 2 white melons.

Ho Ngoc Ha also lost 12 pieces of SJC 9999 gold, weighing 1 tael/piece, along with a lot of foreign currency USD.
