BMW M2 Competition leaked images before launch date

The previous rumors about the M2 Competition were completely correct when the model will be equipped with a 3.0L 6-cylinder Biturbo engine similar to its brother M4, the configuration has been changed to allow the car to own a capacity of 410 horsepower, maximum torque of 550 Nm. Compared to the regular version, this variant of the M2 is 45 horsepower stronger. |
The 0-100 km/h sprint time with the dual-clutch automatic transmission is said to take around 4.2 seconds, which is 1/10th of a second faster than the standard M2, which is also equipped with this type of transmission. |
The exterior of the Competition variant has also changed significantly, with BMW's signature kidney grille being designed more angularly, the front bumper has been redesigned to reveal the air intakes, adding more power to the car. The side mirrors are inspired by the M4, while the 19-inch black wheels seem to be completely new equipment. |
Inside the cabin, the leather sports seats feature embossed M2 logos, and the Start/Stop button on the steering wheel stands out in red. The M1 and M2 buttons are integrated into the leather steering wheel to allow users to set up pre-recorded personalized driving modes via the iDrive system. |
The M2 will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show later this month before going into production in July. |
