The US Department of Homeland Security is at risk of partial shutdown.
The US House of Representatives on February 27 failed to pass a short-term spending bill for the US Department of Homeland Security, just hours before the deadline.
This bill will help financially support the US Department of Homeland Security until March 19.

The US Department of Homeland Security faces the risk of a partial shutdown if Congress does not pass a new budget by noon today.
It is estimated that about 15% of the US Department of Homeland Security employees, equivalent to 30,000 people, will have to take unpaid leave; more than 100,000 airport security officers, seaport inspectors, and border patrol forces will have to work without pay.
Funding for counter-terrorism operations in the states has also been suspended, raising concerns about the country's ability to ensure security in the context of terrorism threatening US domestic security./.
