Class 12A of Tuong Duong 1 High School (2014 - 2017 Course) has 33 students (17 boys and 16 girls). This is a united group with many achievements in studying and training, many of them have the potential to pass the university entrance exam. About to take the graduation exam and say goodbye, the members agreed to build a class yearbook photo album to preserve the memorable moments of their student years. The unique thing about this yearbook photo album is that the students built a detailed scenario and excellently expressed the topic of wife kidnapping - a social issue that is happening in the mountainous districts. |
The main setting of the yearbook takes place in the Sang Le forest area of Tam Dinh commune (Tuong Duong). It starts with a group of young girls in Thai ethnic costumes carrying their children into the forest to pick vegetables, talking and laughing as they walk. |
Hearing the news, a group of local men went out to the forest and waited under large trees to carry out the act of... kidnapping the wife. |
The target of the group of boys in the village was the most beautiful young girl, who had broken away from the group to pick vegetables. The chirping of birds and the fresh green scenery made the young girl's spirit flutter. |
A local boy rushed in, hugged and covered the girl's mouth to take her home, much to the horror of her friends. The girls in the group continued to be surrounded by local boys. |
The captured girl managed to escape home and inform her family... |
Immediately, the family reported to the village management board, and the village immediately dispatched police and militia to rescue the other girls who were being held by the village boys. |
The reckless and law-breaking local men were arrested. |
The young woman who was kidnapped and escaped home was still in a panic, and her friends came to encourage and share her feelings. Tran Thi My Trinh - Class President 12A said: "By taking this yearbook photo album, we want to send a message to young people: Marriage must be built on love, young people must know how to preserve good customs and obey the law." |
