The Tet photo album of Miss Vietnam 2016 was taken over 3 years with the participation of a large family with a very unique idea.

Miss Vietnam 2016 runner-up Thuy Dung (far right) currently lives with her parents and three sisters in Ho Chi Minh City. She said that starting in 2017, the whole family had the idea of taking souvenir photos, but wanted a special highlight.

2017: Thuy Dung and her sisters recreated the image of a mother who is always busy with housework and taking care of the family.

2018: The runner-up and her sisters chose the old Saigon style with flared pants. Everyone prepared their own clothes, with a retro feel.

2019: The concept is grandmothers and in-laws on Tet holiday. Everyone borrows their mother's ao dai and father's vest to wear.

The runner-up said that the siblings in the family are all close in age and grew up together, so they are always excited to take pictures.

Most years, the whole family comes up with ideas very quickly, then each person prepares according to the concept, when it's time to take the photo together, they give each other feedback on the costumes and then take the photo with a camera and phone.

Taking photos also helps to bond family members. "The atmosphere is always bustling, filled with laughter. The grandparents and uncles around watching the children take photos also feel happy," Thuy Dung said.

After graduating with a major in International Finance from the Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, Thuy Dung focused on pursuing a career in program hosting, in which she developed a bilingual MC due to her fluent English.

The beauty has hosted many major events: Asian Junior Fashion Week 2017-2018-2019, Asia-Pacific Cities Tourism Promotion Organization (TPO) Forum 2018... She is also hosting the program "12 noon story" on channels HTV7 and HTV9.
