Nghe An Border Guard Command has new Commander and Political Commissar

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 30, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province held a conference to hand over the responsibilities of Commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard.

The decision of the Ministry of National Defense to appoint Colonel Tran Hai Binh - Deputy Commander of the Nghe An Border Guard to hold the position of Commander to replace comrade Dinh Ngoc Van who is on leave pending retirement according to the regime. The Ministry of National Defense also appointed comrade Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar to hold the position of Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard to replace comrade Nguyen Van Tuy who is on leave pending retirement according to the regime.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham Huy Tap praised the achievements of the retired comrades and congratulated the newly appointed officers of the Ministry of National Defense. At the same time, he hoped that the comrades in their new positions would be united, democratic, responsible, and complete their assigned tasks well, worthy of the heroic tradition of the Nghe An Border Guard in particular and the Border Guard force in general.

The Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard also noted that under any circumstances, it is necessary to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the border on the two border lines of the province, comprehensively reform the border work in accordance with the actual situation. Play an active role in participating in the construction and development of the local socio-economy, build the border area and the sea of ​​Nghe An to be increasingly developed, build a peaceful and friendly border for mutual development.
